Material fabricado a partir de residuos celulósicos, obtenidos mediante asociaciones con fábricas de papel e instalaciones de gestión de residuos. Los residuos se analizan, seleccionan y clasifican en función de su composición para conseguir un producto estándar. Las fibras se mezclan con agua y enzimas, para generar enlaces más fuertes, y finalmente se trabajan mediante presión y calor para hacer un panel. Se utiliza en la realización de revestimientos interiores.
DESCRIPCIÓN
Los laminados de alta presión son materiales de revestimiento que se pegan sobre un sustrato (MDF, aglomerado, tablero de partículas, etc.). Elaborados a partir de una selección especial de papeles decorativos, papel kraft impregnado con melamina y resinas fenólicas. Estos son luego prensados y endurecidos bajo calor y alta presión, proceso del cual obtienen el nombre de HPL (High Pressure Laminate / Laminado de Alta Presión). Su composición los hace resistentes a agua hirviendo, manchas y deformaciones. Incluyen además, un recubrimiento protector, que los hace resistente a ralladuras.
