DESCRIPCIÓN
El tamaño de la albura del tilo generalmente es bastante grande y de color blanco cremoso y se desvanece gradualmente con el duramen, cuyo color vapálido a cofé rojizo, en ocasiones con nudos más oscuros. La madera tiene una textura fina y uniforme con veta recta indistinguible.
DESCRIPCIÓN
La albura es blanca, cambiando gradualmente hacia el marrón claro del duramen de modo que existe poca diferenciación entre la albura y el duramen. La madera posee una textura fina y uniforme y es de fibra recta.
Recién cortada, la madera de aliso estadounidense es casi blanca y cambia rápidamente de color con la exposición al aire, tomando un tono marrón claro con matices amarillos o rojizos.
Material compuesto por capas externas en PET virgen (del 10 al 30% del peso total) y capas internas en PET reciclado (del 70 al 90% del peso total) procedente del reciclaje de botellas.
