Estos son luego prensados y endurecidos bajo calor y alta presión, proceso del cual obtienen el nombre de HPL (High Pressure Laminate / Laminado de Alta Presión). Su composición los hace resistentes a agua hirviendo, manchas y deformaciones. Incluyen además, un recubrimiento protector, que los hace resistente a ralladuras.
