Se trata de un material absorbente suave que resulta muy adecuado para su aplicación en productos de higiene, como pañales para bebés, pero que es igualmente adecuado para su uso en diferentes telas no tejidas con aire, como servilletas, compresas y productos utilizados en el sector médico.
Está disponible en dos versiones: blanqueada y sin blanquear. La versión blanqueada utiliza las tecnologías libre de cloro elemental (ECF) y libre de cloro total (TCF), y cumple la normativa de seguridad para las industrias alimentaria y de higiene. La versión no blanqueada utiliza oxígeno para eliminar la lignina. Como resultado, esta pasta fluff es de un cálido color beige natural y tiene una huella de carbono aproximadamente un 30% menor en comparación con la pasta fluff tradicional, pero su rendimiento no se ve alterado
