El cuarzo rosa en una variedad de cuarzo y pertenece al grupo de los óxidos, con fórmula SiO2.

De coloración anaranjada amarillenta, se encuentra en todo el mundo, y se forma por sublimación en las fumarolas volcánicas, en fuentes hidrotermales templadas, por cambios bruscos de temperatura y como subproducto de la descomposición de otros minerales arsenicales.
La estibina, también llamada antimonita o estibinita, es un mineral del grupo II (sulfuros), según la clasificación de Strunz. Es la mena principal del antimonio, metal relativamente raro (0,2 por millón en la corteza terrestre). Existen cristales radiales alargados de estibina, o formas macizas.
