Por su estructura (98% aire y 2% de hidrocarburos) y ligereza, la espuma de polietileno (polietileno expandido) es un material muy útil en soluciones de empaque y embalaje, también se utiliza como aislante térmico y acústico.

Su baja conductividad térmica y su alta resistencia a la difusión de vapor de agua aseguran una mayor durabilidad y un mejor rendimiento de su instalación. Esta combinación única mantiene sus prestaciones y permite un ahorro energético importante a lo largo de la vida útil de este sistema de aislamiento térmico.
Los laminados de alta presión son materiales de revestimiento que se pegan sobre un sustrato (MDF, aglomerado, tablero de partículas, etc.). Elaborados a partir de una selección especial de papeles decorativos, papel kraft impregnado con melamina y resinas fenólicas. Estos son luego prensados y endurecidos bajo calor y alta presión, proceso del cual obtienen el nombre de HPL (High Pressure Laminate / Laminado de Alta Presión). Su composición los hace resistentes a agua hirviendo, manchas y deformaciones. Incluyen además, un recubrimiento protector, que los hace resistente a ralladuras.
